Dr. Kristina Jones is a distinguished board-certified internal medicine physician with additional training in psychiatry, specializing in internal medicine , mental health and weight management. Since 2005, Dr. Jones has been serving her patients and community with unwavering dedication, beginning her medical journey at Tbilisi State Medical University in Georgia (formerly the USSR), where she also volunteered at free clinics in her home country.
Graduating with honors, Dr. Jones was selected to further her studies at Michigan State University, for a master’s degree in Epidemiology and Public Health. She subsequently completed her internal medicine residency at the University of Wisconsin-affiliated Aurora Healthcare Internal Medicine Residency program, where her commitment to holistic patient care became her goal.
Born into a family of physicians, Dr. Jones realized from a young age that her life’s calling was to heal—body, mind, and spirit. Her practice uniquely integrates internal medicine with an emphasis on mental health and weight management, offering each patient tailored care that addresses their specific health concerns. Known for her profound understanding of her patients’ struggles and her relentless dedication to delivering exceptional care, Dr. Jones is held in high esteem by the many individuals whose lives she has touched.
Dr. Jones also has an extensive academic background, having served as faculty in several esteemed institutions. She taught in the Internal Medicine Residency Program at Baylor Scott & White Hospital and was a valued faculty member at Baylor College of Medicine, where she imparted her knowledge to medical students, emphasizing the art and science of medicine.
Beyond her clinical and academic achievements, Dr. Jones remains committed to giving back to the community. For over 15 years, she has volunteered at various free clinics, driven by her belief in providing equitable healthcare to all. Dr Jones continues to work on developing her non profit organization to help the most vulnerable patients.
In her practice, Dr. Jones is exceedingly committed to delivering healthcare that is free from judgment and bias. She believes that every individual, regardless of background, lifestyle, or health challenges, deserves respectful and compassionate care.
